At SERVPRO of East Kalamazoo, we provide mold remediation services for our local community.  Here is a short description of the steps we take to mitigate any mold growth that is harmful in your environment:

We stage the location for containment in the building, demolition, and cleaning. We typically set up containment with a small-large curtain, airlock, and/or setting up critical barriers.  

Then, we set up air filtration devices (AFDs) and use a manometer to verify sufficient negative pressure.  We control the demolition of affected porous materials with visible mold growth and vacuum any settled spores with a HEPA vacuum.

We wrap up the clean-up with damp wiping of remaining surfaces and breaking down of the containers/barriers placed to minimize the spore spread.
